Wonderful older hotel. Newly remodeled with standard conveniences. The AC was cold the fridge keeps my cold stuff cold. The bed was very comfortable. I enjoyed the overnight sleep.
Very good water pressure & hot water. Lisa was extremely friendly and helpful. Clean and quiet. Very much enjoyed our stay.
So, this isn’t the Hong Kong “W”, but it’s a Tipton-ized equivalent. Nice rooms, great bed and other room “stuff”. Friendliest people in a clean and friendly town. Deserves 6 out of 5 stars, really.
Today was an especially exhausting day and I was so thankful for the fast, polite, and professional service I received here. This was easily one of the nicest, cleanest, and most comfortable motels I've ever stayed at. The people here are more than kind and this place is absolutely awesome.
What a neat place to stay for a couple of nights! Clean, cozy and comfortable! The manager Lisa is awesome and I had a chance to meet the owners and they are wonderful. It feels like a home away from hotel. Great area to explore too. I will definitely return! Thanks for you wonderful hospitality!!
wonderful rooms and customer service! Going forward, we will only stay in Tipton each time we come back to Iowa-it's worth it to drive to our daily reunions for relatives and be ensured to be able to get a good night's rest!!
A winter storm left us stranded on I-80 but also revealed to us this little gem called Motel Tipton and its proprietors who are 2 of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. Our room was cozy and super clean. Thank you Eric & Lisa for coming to our rescue! To the folks taking long road trips on I-80 and need to take a break…drive past the big-name hotels in Iowa City or Davenport and take exit 267 to Tipton and treat yourself to some Iowa Nice!
I had a wonderful stay at this motel! The staff provided exceptional service — they were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The room was spotless, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. I was very impressed with how clean and well-maintained the entire property was. Highly recommend this motel to anyone looking for great service and a comfortable place to stay!
